Parklife Partnerships, the residential-led UK developer and builder, has appointed regeneration expert Pat Hayes as partnerships director and Daniel Hagger as development director.

Hayes (pictured) has spent 40 years working in local government and previously served as executive director for regeneration, environment and planning at Slough Borough Council; managing director at Be First, Barking and Dagenham Council’s independent regeneration arm; executive director, regeneration and housing at Ealing Council; director of borough partnerships at Transport for London; and executive director for regeneration and environment at the London Borough of Lewisham.

Hagger joins Parklife from Countryside Partnerships, where he was land and development director. In his new role, he will work across Parklife’s pipeline, helping to shape schemes and coordinate the technical, planning and delivery considerations required to bring a range of sites forward.

Mike Woolliscroft, managing director of Parklife Partnerships, said: “It’s especially important to us to continue to build a team based on experience and values to ensure our ambitions for Parklife are fully met. The business was conceived in a bid to respond to the desperate need for new, high-quality residential communities. I know how important this is to both Pat and Daniel, so we were delighted when they each approached us about joining. They bring deep expertise and an unwavering commitment to creating places that foster thriving, long-lasting communities.

“Pat is one of the industry’s most respected professionals. His incredible track record in housing delivery and regeneration combined with the wealth of knowledge, will be instrumental as we look to create a better approach to urban development and regeneration. Having previously worked with Daniel, I know he strongly aligns with our ethos of delivering places that have a meaningful and positive impact on communities. His laser-like focus on delivery and ability to take projects from concept through to implementation will be pivotal in fulfilling our core mission.”

Hayes added: “During my time in local government, I saw first-hand the impact of great housing when the public and private sectors work together effectively. Understanding Parklife’s ambitions and the people that were already involved really appealed to me. The opportunity to input into the business shares my relentless commitment to high quality design, strong delivery and creating places that work for people and stand the test of time.

“Backed by the OHOB Group, Parklife also has the commercial and construction expertise to tackle today’s viability challenges and turn ambitious plans into high quality homes. I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to the team and helping deliver that vision.”

Hagger said: “Parklife Partnerships has a clear ambition for growth and a robust strategy to support it, which makes this a very exciting time to be joining the business. I look forward to combining strategic thinking with practical execution to build high quality homes and communities for future generations.”
