Colliers’ business rates team has recruited Jacob Snelson as a data director from tax group Ryan.
Snelson will be based in Colliers’ Manchester office, but will support the whole rating team across the UK. A key focus will be to establish greater consistency across the business rates team’s data sets, helping to support and enhance surveyor decision-making.
In his new role, Snelson will help shape processes, delivery and collaboration across the department.
Darren Williams, who heads up the business rates appeals team at Colliers, said: “Jacob joins us at a pivotal time for the department and brings with him a wealth of expertise that is reflected in his role.
