Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield has received planning permission for its £1bn+ White City residential scheme. The developer initially submitted planning for the Westfield London high-rise residential phase two site in 2012 and 2014, but was forced to submit a revised planning application in April last year due to concerns over the height of the scheme.
The revised proposals for the development, which will provide 1,700 new homes in addition to commercial space, included a reduction in the height of the towers by 15 storeys, so that the scheme would be brought in line with Cassini Tower at White City Living, and additional fire mitigation measures.
