Colliers has recruited Lucy Moroney from Ferguson Planning as a senior planner. Prior to working for Ferguson, Moroney enjoyed stints at Iceni Projects in London and Pegasus Group in Cambridge.
She will join Colliers’ Edinburgh-based team and work across a wide range of sectors including tourism, residential, retail, commercial and heritage.
Anthony Aitken, head of UK planning at Colliers, said: “We’re pleased to be welcoming Lucy to our national planning team. She already has a great foundation in planning consultancy based on her UK wide experience, which will be really beneficial to our clients.
“She will also get the opportunity to work with our Colliers colleagues across the UK on a wide range of developments for their commercial and residential real estate clients. Like many planning professionals she’s active in trying to positively promote the planning profession via good design and sound placemaking, so she will be a great addition to our team.”
Moroney added: “I’m looking forward to joining a friendly and experienced team, and to get involved in the interesting projects Colliers undertake across the UK, working on both large strategic development plans as well as niche applications on behalf of corporate clients.”
