Property developer Acorn Property Group has exchanged contracts to redevelop Hotel California in Newquay into new homes.
The hotel permanently closed three years ago and Acorn will now transform the building and its grounds into 20 modern apartments and four new houses.
The development lies just five-minutes’ walk from the picturesque Fistral Beach and boasts spectacular views over the Gannel Estuary.
With planning permission already approved, demolition works are scheduled to start upon completion of the sale of the site in July, with construction set to commence by the end of the year.
