Addington has completed two retail lettings in the ground floor units of two London office schemes.
Garbanzos, the fast-growing Middle Eastern-inspired salad and street food concept, has signed for 462 sq ft at Evermore, 128 Queen Victoria Street, on a 10-year lease. Evermore, which was formerly known as Old Change House was acquired by BauMont Real Estate and Addington in a joint venture in March 2024. Savills advised BauMont and Addington.
At Unit 2a at 10 Fleet Place (pictured), Australian speciality coffee café Urban Baristas has taken 1,206 sq ft on a 10-year lease. Addington is the asset manager for the property acting on behalf of Vervain Resources, the Hong Kong investment company which acquired the building in 2015.
David Dalrymple, principal at Addington, said: “We are excited about both these retail lettings. Both Garbanzos and Urban Baristas are popular growing brands and the fact that they want to open their latest stores in our office buildings will help underpin the attraction of our offices above, prove attractive to workers and create a sense of vitality in both these locations.
“The letting at 10 Fleet Place, will also now result in all our ground floor retail units fully let in the building. Together with CNBC’s television studio next door, Urban Baristas’ presence will increase the overall visibility of the building in this attractive Central London square. We will be launching the newly refurbished 6th floor at 10 Fleet Place the end of Q1 2026 which provides 19,823 sq ft of high quality contemporary office space.”
