Allison Homes South West has exchanged contracts on a residential development site located in Landkey, on the edge of Barnstaple, North Devon.
The developer will deliver 150 new one-, two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes – 45 of the new homes will be affordable housing.
Steve Fowler, managing director of Allison Homes South West, said: “We’re very excited to announce that we have contracted on our latest development in the region. This is an exciting step towards the growth of Allison Homes. We’re looking forward to investing in the area and bringing much-needed, high-quality family homes to the beautiful village of Landkey.
“We design our properties with the homeowner in mind; as standard, all our homes are purpose-built to be energy efficient and designed with superior insulation, heating systems, low-energy appliances and lighting. We take pride in providing people with homes that are energy efficient, enabling residents to live more comfortably and benefit from having lower monthly bills.
“We are dedicated to creating communities and homes for local people, including first-time buyers and young families who may otherwise struggle to get on the housing ladder in Devon.”
Subject to approval of reserved matters planning, work on the development is expected to start in early 2025.
