Architecture practice John McAslan + Partners has appointed Rupert Buxton as COO.
Buxton, who has more than 20 years’ experience driving profitability, governance and business performance for a number of international design and architecture firms, joined John McAslan + Partners after holding a similar role at the Egis Group. Prior to that, he was commercial director at Wilkinson Eyre for nearly 10 years.
Buxton said: “I am excited to embark on this role of COO at John McAslan + Partners as I’ve long admired the work of the practice. As the studio broadens its leadership by splitting responsibilities amongst the wider team who are invested in the practice, it’s critical to help manage this transition into new roles and ways of working together.”
