Beaufort has completed a £26m senior facility with a leading UK care provider to fund the construction of a new 82-bed care home in South West London.

The facility will support the refinancing and development of the circa £50m GDV site, which will specialise in the provision of elderly and dementia care and feature state-of-the-art amenities.

The facility will be structured in two phases: an initial £2m refinancing, followed by the main development funding upon planning approval for a revised scheme.

Steffan Goold, director at Beaufort, said: “We are delighted to have completed this facility with one of the UK’s leading elderly and dementia care providers. Once delivered, the proposed scheme will provide best-in-class care and facilities as well as excellent hospitality. We are looking forward to building a long-term relationship with the borrower.”
