Telereal Trillium and Bellway Homes have exchanged on the former Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) office site on Flowers Hill in Bristol for an undisclosed price.
The site, which comprises more than 92,000 sq ft of disused offices and ancillary buildings spread over 8.65 acres, was originally constructed as a military hospital during World War II and includes a Grade II listed war room.
Telereal Trillium instructed planning consultants Blackbox Planning and architects Roberts Limbrick to secure consent for a scheme providing up to 160 residential units with a flexible change of use for the retained war room.
Bellway Homes is now submitting its reserved atters application with a view to commencing construction next year.

We will now be working on our Reserved Matters application, which we will be looking to submit in the summer.”
Telereal Trillium was advised on the planning application and sale by Savills.
