Arrowsmith Group has appointed Big Red Construction – part of the BR2.0 Group – as principal contractor at the Brunswick Mill redevelopment in Manchester.
The derelict, Grade II listed site, which once featured in a music video for Liam Gallagher, is being converted into 153 new one- to three-bedroom apartments.
Big Red will restore the seven-story premises in line with Heritage England’s requirements. Phase one of the project will include the removal of materials, loose fittings, large equipment and the existing windows on the first three floors.

As we continue to expand our projects across the North, with a particular hotspot for sites in and around Manchester, we’re looking forward to playing a part in bringing the mill back to life.”
