BNF Capital and Morgan Real Estate (MRE) have completed the acquisition of 27 Savile Row in London’s Mayfair from CPI Property Group for an undisclosed price.

Originally built for the Metropolitan Police in the 1940s, the building has planning consent for a 47,000 sq ft office-led development, designed by PLP.

This is the fourteenth acquisition by BNF and MRE, who intend to improve upon the existing consent for the building.

Colin Opp, director of BNF Real Estate, said: “27 Savile Row is an outstanding asset and demonstrates our continued commitment to creating a portfolio of exceptional real estate assets. BNF’s rigorous and long-term investment approach allows us to continually deliver throughout market cycles whenever the right opportunity presents itself.”

Alex Morgan, partner at Morgan Real Estate, added: “27 Savile Row is a unique opportunity to deliver a truly world-class building in an internationally recognised location that will complement BNF’s existing portfolio of premium assets. We are excited to be working alongside BNF to deliver an exceptional building whose design will endure long into the future.”

Michael Elliott acted on behalf of CPI.
