BNP Paribas Real Estate has appointed Jean Parker as a director within the firm’s lease advisory team.
Parker joins from her own firm, Spectrum Property Consultants, where she advised the Crown Estate on its development vacant possession work.
She will primarily be based in BNP Paribas Real Estate’s Savile Row office and will work closely with Leighton Thomas, head of lease advisory, and Simon Knights, head of West End agency.
Thomas said: “As one of the UK’s largest lease advisory teams, who operate across all real estate asset types, we’re always looking at how we develop our expertise to meet client demand. Jean is a seasoned professional in her field and we look forward to working closely with her as she supports clients around central London and beyond.”
Knights (pictured alongside Parker) added: “It is our opinion that around 40% of the West End office market will be subject to lease events this year and next, which will effectively ‘reset’ the leasing market. We are meeting this lease engineering demand by bringing Jean, a highly specialised and experienced agent to our Savile Row office. Having worked with Jean previously at Strutt & Parker, I expect this combination to be a dynamic partnership, which will massively benefit our clients.”
Parker said: “I’ve had a long affiliation with the firm, so I look forward to joining Simon and the team, and working alongside them to bring our expertise to the client base, both existing and new.”
