Boyer Design has recruited Carlos Yuen from AJ100 as an associate.
At AJ100, Yuen was a senior urban designer and worked on projects spanning private and public housing, masterplanning, town centre regeneration and mixed-use developments.
In his new role, Yuen will specialise in the design and delivery of large-scale projects from site promotion through to applications and design codes.
Ananya Banerjee, director and head of design at Boyer, said: “Carlos brings a wealth of experience in masterplanning and urban design, and a collaborative approach that aligns with how we work at Boyer Design. His ability to balance contextual considerations with practical delivery will be a real asset to our clients.”
Yuen added: “Good masterplanning starts with context; understanding what’s already there before shaping what comes next. That’s the approach I’ve always taken, and I’m looking forward to applying that thinking to Boyer Design’s projects.”
