RWK Goodman has strengthened its national real estate team with the appointment of Cheryl Brady as a partner in the firm’s Bristol office.
Brady, who joins the firm from Michelmores, has more than two decades of experience advising clients across a range of commercial, residential and mixed-use property development projects.
Brady said: “I’m excited to be joining RWK Goodman’s growing national real estate team at a time where they have strong ambitions to further develop the practice area. I’m passionate about the work my clients do within the development sector. The team’s approach to delivering advice is not only client-focused but commercially-orientated and this was a key draw and it complements my own approach well. I’m looking forward to working with the team to further expand this area and develop a strong national practice.
“The firm’s full-service capabilities means they can support developers, landowners, promoters and funders through the whole process of development. Site delivery and plot sales are efficiently dealt with at the firm by Victoria Morley-Jones and her fabulous, experienced team and I am looking forward to meeting them.”
Dominic Whelan, head of RWK Goodman’s real estate team, added: “Cheryl is a very welcome addition to our growing national real estate practice, and her high quality level of commercial awareness and deep knowledge of the intricacies and challenges of the property development cycle significantly complement our existing capabilities and will allow us to further enhance the quality of our client support.
“Her appointment marks a significant step in our ongoing ambitions for growth within our national Development team which is a well-rounded and multi-disciplinary team with the client’s best interests at the core of our approach. Cheryl joining the firm is another strong indication of being able to deliver against this goal and support clients nationally.”
