British Land and AustralianSuper have sealed two F&B lettings at their 53-acre Canada Water development.
Sushi Revolution and The Village Tree have agreed terms to take 1,850 sq ft and 1,250 sq ft respectively on the ground floor of Three Deal Porters, a mixed-use building with collaborative, adaptable workspace above.
Sushi Revolution will offer al fresco dining within Dock Office Gardens and The Village Tree will overlook Canada Dock.
Alice Keown, leasing director restaurants and leisure at British Land, said: “Sushi Revolution and The Village Tree are both independents with connections to the local area and are reflective of the mix of food and beverage we are looking to bring to Canada Water. They will be in a prime location when they open this year, surrounded by workspace, apartments and the new Canada Water Leisure Centre which is opening this spring. The day to night offering was a key part of their appeal.”
Tze-May Ng, founder and owner of The Village Tree, added: “We’re proud to be a local, independent business, serving great coffee and food while fostering a welcoming space for our community at our existing sites The Barn and The Pear Tree. As a local resident, it’s been incredible to grow our business here and contribute to the community. We’re thrilled to be opening The Village Tree with British Land – bringing more brew, bites, and job opportunities to the area.”
Aidan Bryan, co-founder and director of operations at Sushi Revolution, said: “Both Tom and I cannot be more excited about the upcoming opening of our third restaurant, where we will be bringing our signature style to southeast London.
