Casa by Moda has acquired a single-family rental (SFR) homes scheme in Nottingham from Strata Homes for an undisclosed price.

The neighbourhood, which will be called Casa, North Valley, is the company’s first in the Midlands and is due to welcome its first residents in the spring.

Casa, North Valley comprises a mix of 114 new, two- and three-bedroom family homes on Radford Road in New Basford.

Residents will benefit from superfast broadband and innovative smart technology, such as smart home security systems and doorbells, as well as environmental monitoring devices provided by Casa by Moda’s technology partner, Utopi.

Matthew Townson, director of development and projects at Casa by Moda, said: “The landscape for single-family rental has never been more exciting, and we’re starting 2025 as we mean to go on with the launch of Casa, North Valley. Looking ahead we have ambitious plans for the future and are looking forward to collaborating with leading housebuilders like Strata Homes, as well as local authorities and landowners, to deliver high-quality new homes across the UK, as we continue to deliver a UK-wide portfolio of secure, high quality rental accommodation for this undersupplied market.”

Rob Larkin, pre-construction director at Strata, added: “Casa by Moda is one of the leading providers of single-family housing, so an opportunity like this to work with them to deliver our family home designs as part of their innovative rental model is fantastic to be part of. Regeneration of brownfield land like this site on Radford Road is a great opportunity to bring much needed housing to the area.”
