Center Parcs has secured planning consent to build a new £450m holiday village near Hawick in the Scottish Borders.
The new village will feature up to 700 accommodation units, a wide range of leisure facilities and activities, retail and food and beverage outlets a ‘subtropical swimming paradise’ and a Aqua Sana Forest Spa.
Center Paris is targeted an opening of summer 2029 for its first village in Scotland, which will be called Center Parcs Scottish Borders.

David Stevenson, director at Edmond Shipway, which will be providing project management, cost consultancy and mechanical and electrical consultancy services at the new village, added: “I am delighted that the planning application has now been approved by Scottish Borders Council and that we will continue to build on our hugely successful 25 year relationship with Center Parcs.
