Chancerygate has acquired a two-acre site in Old Trafford, Manchester, from Landmark Group on which it intends to speculatively develop 53,000 sq ft of Grade A urban logistics space.
The UrbanX scheme will comprise two leasehold units of 30,200 sq ft and 22,800 sq ft. Chancerygate intends to submit a planning application in July and is targeting EPC A+ and BREEAM Excellent ratings for the circa £15m GDV scheme, which is located less than one mile from Manchester city centre.

Christopher Dee and BC Real Estate advised Chancerygate on the transaction and Mason Partners acted for Landmark Group. The letting agents for the development are BC Real Estate and Savills.
