Chartway Partnerships Group and Moat Homes have secured planning consent for 298 new mixed-tenure homes, community facilities and public open space at Frognal Place in Teynham, Kent.
The development will offer a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments as well as two-, three- and four-bedroom houses, including affordable housing for rent and shared ownership.
Frognal Place will also feature extensive landscape-led public open spaces, including new community orchards that celebrate the local area’s rich history of fruit production, new allotments, sports pitches and a sports pavilion.
Julian Moat, planning director at Chartway Partnerships Group, said: “Receiving planning permission is a significant milestone in our vision to create a thriving, sustainable neighbourhood at Frognal Place that supports and enhances the existing Teynham community. This development promises to deliver broad socio-economic benefits to the Borough, with contributions exceeding £4.2m to bolster local education, healthcare, youth services, and transport infrastructure.”
