Colliers has recruited Michael Gool as a mechanical and electrical cost management director within its project and building consultancy division.
Gool, who has worked in the real estate sector for more than 20 years, has joined Colliers from K2 Consultancy where he led the M&E offering for the business. Prior to that, he worked for Gardiner & Theobald, Gleeds and Turner & Townsend.
Stuart Taggart, head of cost management at Colliers, said: “It’s great that we are able to welcome Michael to the department. He brings with him lots of experience and will strengthen our team’s experience and help us to grow our presence in key target sectors such as data centres and life sciences. Part of Michael’s role will also be to work with other business units to help provide a turnkey solution for our clients with regard to meeting sustainability targets and compliance.
Gool added: “It’s great to be joining a business like Colliers which works with a broad range of clients, across so many different asset classes, but yet still has the feel of a smaller business where you can connect across teams easily, and provide a great customer experience. I’m looking forward to getting to know more of the business and our clients and working on some great projects together.”
