Convene has appointed Niamh Martin as managing director of the company’s UK business. She will take on the new role in February next year.
Martin has more than 18 years’ experience in the lifestyle hospitality industry and prior to joining Convene she spent more than six years working for Selfridges. In her new role, she will oversee site operations, financial performance and the growth of the company’s UK business.
The company has also appointed Simon Lee as head of finance, group controller. Lee previously worked with Convene on a consulting basis and prior to joining the company he served as vice president of finance and accounting with Diamond Resorts and financial controller at the Remy Cointreau Group.
