Tunbridge Wells Borough Council has appointed RivingtonHark to advise on improvements to and the strategic direction of Royal Victoria Place shopping centre in Tunbridge Wells.
The council acquired the long leasehold of the 475,000 sq ft shopping centre from British Land earlier this month. It has owned the freehold of the centre, which comprises 99 units and is anchored by Fenwick and Marks & Spencer, since it was built in 1992.
The council believes it is uniquely placed to secure the future of the centre and its contribution to the town centre.

The day-to-day management of the shopping centre will be overseen by Knight Frank.
