Bristol City Council’s housing company Goram Homes has brought a residential development opportunity forward with a GDV of £35m in the heart of Bristol city centre.
Goram Homes has appointed Knight Frank to market the 0.84-acre brownfield regeneration site on Portwall Lane, in the Redcliffe area of the city, as a joint venture partnership
The proposals for the site consist of a mixed-use residential-led scheme made up of 120 homes, 40% of which would be affordable – a mixture of social rent and shared ownership – subject to planning.

The creation of a major mixed-use development and improved public realm on the Portwall Lane Car Park forms part of this overall aspiration, and its launch to market marks an exciting step forward in delivering that vision.
“The site has huge potential to revitalise this corner of Bristol, delivering new homes alongside retail amenity and improved public realm. As a highly publicised site in Bristol, Portwall Lane Car Park has garnered much interest over the years. Knight Frank is currently inviting interested parties to register an expression of interest. A shortlist will be invited to tender.
