Thurrock Council is bringing a portfolio of retail parade assets to market through online property auctioneer BidX1.
The 14 retail parades, which provide more than 140 units, will be offered across two online auctions on 20 November and 16 December.
The initial tranche of multi-let lots includes: Derwent Parade, South Ockendon (pictured), which has a guide price of £3,700,000; Daiglen Drive Parade, South Ockendon, which has a guide price of £1,100,000; and Derry Avenue Parade, South Ockendon, which has a guide price of £825,000.
The sale forms part of the council’s asset disposals programme, a key element of its improvement and recovery plan.
Simon Bailey, head of auctions at BidX1 UK, said: “We’re proud to be working with Thurrock Council to facilitate the sale of these well-established retail parades. Each of these assets offers attractive, income-producing opportunities with a strong tenant mix and long-standing local trade. BidX1’s online auction model ensures full transparency, competitive bidding and accessibility for investors across the UK and internationally.”
