Cube RE (Cube) has acquired the freehold of a Burger King drive-thru at Oaks Drive, Newmarket, on behalf of The Hathaway Opportunity Fund for an undisclosed price.
Let to BKUK Flame with 11 years unexpired on the lease, the drive-thru is located adjacent to Studlands Retail Park, which is owned by the fund.
Jonathan Butcher, senior asset manager at Cube, said: “The acquisition of this investment extends our ownership in the area, adding to the offer at Studlands Retail Park which remains fully let following the recent additions of The Range and Tapi Carpets to this thriving retail destination.”
HRH Retail advised the vendor on the sale and Cube RE was represented by Morgan Williams.
