Cushman & Wakefield has strengthened its UK retail and leisure team by rehiring shopping centre leasing specialist Steve Morgan.
Morgan, who worked for Cushman & Wakefield between 2005 and 2011, re-joins the business from JLL where he spent 15 years as a director in its retail team focused on the UK shopping centre market.
His appointment follows the recent arrivals of Soraya Tavakoli as a partner in the firm’s leisure and restaurants team and Josh Ebel who joined as a surveyor from Colliers.
Duncan Gilliard, head of retail leasing UK at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “It’s a pleasure to welcome Steve back to Cushman & Wakefield to join our existing 26 retail and leisure leasing experts. Adding Steve’s market knowledge and experience to our already strong shopping centre leasing team is fantastic news for our landlord clients and the vibrancy and success of their schemes. Our investment in growth and talent reflects our determination to be the strongest team in the market.”
Morgan added: “I’m delighted to return to Cushman & Wakefield which has such a strong global retail platform and heritage in the sector. Working with outstanding colleagues, I’ll be using all my experience to support clients in delivering the tenant mix and customer experience that supports their strategies.”
