The UK’s “first” world surfing reserve has hit the market with a £17.5m price tag.
The Beachside is a high-end holiday apartment complex with development opportunities in Croyde Bay, North Devon. The original site was built in the 1890s and consisted of one building formally known as the Croyde Bay Hotel.
Since the 1990s, 20 apartments spread over three modern buildings have been added. The property also has a disused indoor swimming pool and two private access points directly to the beach.
The Beachside, which has been owned by Mike and Mark Saltmarsh for more than 30 years, offers a wide variety of potential uses, including a private residential estate, hotel, or holiday park.
