This week, building control firm Assent Building Compliance ceased trading, jeopardising the future of thousands of construction projects.
The news came just weeks after recently appointed Building Safety Regulator (BSR) chair Andy Roe promised to clear the Gateway 2 backlog for higher-risk buildings (HRBs).

During the debate, we will be assessing the current building safety landscape, evaluating the BSR’s plans and exploring how to successfully navigate the Building Safety Act.
