Leeds-headquartered Eddisons has acquired regional consultancy Kirkby Diamond in a deal worth up to £8.25m.

Kirkby Diamond generates annual turnover of £6.2m and employs 62 people across offices in Milton Keynes, Bedford, Luton, St Albans and Enfield.

The acquisition extends Eddisons’ footprint to cover the entire M1 corridor and aligns with the firm’s strategy to reinforce its service offering and expand its market coverage.

Earlier this week, Eddisons acquired London auction firm Network Auctions, further expanding its coverage of the South of England.

Anthony Spencer, managing director of Eddisons, said: “I am delighted to welcome the Kirkby Diamond team to Eddisons. The acquisition significantly strengthens our coverage and expertise, consolidating our market position in key industrial locations. Kirkby Diamond are a great fit with Eddisons, culturally and strategically, and I look forward to taking forward the opportunities that the deal presents.”

Luke Tillison, managing director of Kirkby Diamond, added: “Through the quality of our people, Kirkby Diamond has built a reputation for placing our clients’ interests at the forefront of everything we do. We are excited to be joining Eddisons and to have this opportunity to develop our offering on a broader basis with like-minded colleagues.”
