Fiera Real Estate UK has appointed Andrew Hill from Apache Capital as a director to spearhead the management of the firm’s value-add funds.

Hill, who has 10 years of real estate fund and investment management experience, was a director and head of multifamily at Apache and prior to that he spent six years at Mansford.

In his new role, he will be responsible for acquisitions, asset management and financing for the firm’s value-add funds. He will report to Fiera’s head of UK real estate investment management, Chris Button, and will also support capital raising for the firm’s future value-add strategies.

Button said: “There is a strong battle for talent in this market cycle and having Andy on board is a real coup for us. He is an established operator who brings to the business a global network of institutional capital, and strong track record across capital raising, deployment and portfolio management in inflation-linked, income-generating sectors, which are our current focus.

Hill added: “Fiera’s strategic focus on residential, logistics and debt, as well as its unique operating partner model, makes it well positioned to respond to institutional demand and market opportunity. Its origination capabilities and vertically-integrated investment, development and asset management function underpin value-add strategies which have had and continue to have proven success in the market, and I look forward to offering my complementary skillset in this space.”
