Fora co-founder and chief executive officer Enrico Sanna has stepped down from the company to “pursue other entrepreneurial opportunities”.
He will be replaced as CEO by Jason Blank from London-based real estate investment firm Brockton Everlast, which he co-founded in 2005.
In 2017, Brockton Capital provided the initial capital for Sanna to co-found Fora and scale the business. Sanna led the merger with the Blackstone-owned The Office Group in September 2022 and became CEO of the combined group. He will remain an adviser to and shareholder in the company.
Blank will join Fora’s leadership team of Olly Olsen – executive chairman – and Toby Ogden, chief operating officer.
Blank said: “I would like to thank Enrico for his outstanding contribution to the business, his leadership since co-founding Fora seven years ago and his passion and dedication in challenging the norm of what the workspace of the future looks like. We wish him all the best in his endeavours.
“Fora has an exceptional opportunity ahead as corporate occupiers increase their flexible workspace footprint and SMEs and start-ups see the tangible benefits of having their teams collaborate in inspiring, fully fitted and well-located buildings. Our premium, customer-service focused, flexible workspaces are benefitting from the flight to quality in the office market. I look forward to continuing to work with the management team and our investors to capitalise on strong demand drivers and prepare the platform for its next stage of growth.”
Sanna added: “It has been an honour to grow Fora into the leading flexible office platform in London. I am confident that Fora and The Office Group will continue to go from strength to strength. I would like to thank Brockton, Blackstone and all my colleagues for their trust and support.”
Olsen said: “We are delighted to welcome Jason as CEO. As both a builder of real estate businesses and a seasoned and hands-on investor, Jason is already embedded in Fora’s operations and will bring tremendous experience and leadership as the business positions itself to capitalise on the bifurcation of the office market and demand for high quality, fully amenitised workspaces. I would also like to thank Enrico for his leadership and all his hard work before, during and since the merger.”
