Frasers Group has completed the purchase of the Junction 32 Shopping Outlet in Castleford, Yorkshire, from Landsec.
Located close to the M62, the AI and M1, the 252,000 sq ft Junction 32 comprises 92 units and is already home to several Frasers brands, including Sports Direct, Jack Wills and GAME, as well as occupiers such as Nike and Adidas.
James France, group head of real estate for Frasers Group, said: “The acquisition of the Junction 32 Outlet further demonstrates our commitment to the long-term future of physical retail, and we look forward to unlocking the site’s full potential as we roll out the elevation strategy. The site is well located for future growth and further expands Frasers presence across the North of England, enabling us to continue providing elevated retail experiences to regional consumers.”
James Keany, head of national retail agency for CBRE, added: “This acquisition complements Frasers Group existing freehold portfolio. Frasers Group have really exciting plans to further improve the asset and existing tenant mix.”
