Frasers Group has acquired Braehead Shopping Centre near Glasgow from SGS UK Retail for an undisclosed price.
The 1.1m sq ft centre generates annual footfall of more than 15 million visitors and so far in 2025 16 brands have renewed or extended their leases. The centre also secured a 30,000 sq ft deal with global leisure and recreation concept SuperPark for its first UK site earlier this year.
Braehead is the latest addition to Frasers Group’s growing portfolio of UK retail parks and shopping centres. In the past few years, the company has acquired Frenchgate Shopping Centre in Doncaster, Junction 32 Shopping Outlet in Castleford, The Mall in Luton, Princesshay Shopping Centre in Exeter, Fremlin Walk Shopping Centre in Maidstone, St Nicholas Arcade in Lancaster and The Olympus Centre retail park in Quedgeley.
