Richardson Hotels has sold the freehold of The Abbey Sands Hotel on Belgrave Road in Torquay to a private buyer.
The property was sold off a guide price of £1.95m and Bespoke will operate the hotel on behalf of the new owner.
The Abbey Sands Hotel comprises a pair of Victorian villas on a 1.36-acre site and provides 52 ensuite bedrooms and a restaurant and lounge bar with a combined capacity of 80 covers. The property also features indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
