SGS UK Retail has let a 4,221 sq ft store at Lakeside shopping centre to Montreal-born lifestyle brand GARAGE.
The brand, which operates 231 stores across North America, made its UK debut earlier this year on Oxford Street, as part of its expansion strategy.
GARAGE will sell its evolving collection of apparel and accessories from the store, which will be located on the upper level of Lakeside.
Robert Jewell, managing director of asset management at Pradera, Lakeside’s asset manager, said: “Lakeside remains the natural choice for brands entering the UK retail market, due to its established reputation as a leading super regional destination. GARAGE’s signing reflects both the strength of the scheme and quality of the brands represented. Its arrival will further broaden the retail mix, adding another globally recognised name to an already compelling line-up, while enhancing the depth and diversity that continues to distinguish Lakeside from competing destinations.”
