Get Living has been awarded a five-star rating for its operational neighbourhoods and a four-star rating for its development portfolio by the global ESG benchmark GRESB.
In a statement Get Living said the GRESB accreditation was an important element of its ESG strategy as it continues to embed sustainability across the business through initiatives such as supporting local employment and local suppliers and ‘becoming civic family members of the communities in which it operates, while pursuing a green and sustainable agenda’.
Ailish Christian West, executive director of real estate, development and ESG at Get Living, added: “We’re delighted to be awarded a GRESB five-star rating for our neighbourhoods once again. This accreditation is testament to the hard work of the Get Living team in driving ESG initiatives across the business, from lowering our group carbon emissions to supporting our communities on the ground. We still have a way to go on our ESG journey as we work to become an industry leader, but accreditations such as this reflect the positive steps Get Living has already made.”
