A new 11,000 sq ft GP ‘super surgery’ is due to open at Quintain’s Wembley Park development early next year.

The practice will be operated by Wembley Park Medical Centre and will offer two clinical suites, 14 consult exam rooms, four treatment rooms and an e-consult room.

Designed by architects The Manger Practice, the surgery will be delivered by Quintain as part of the Repton Gardens development.

Cllr Neil Nerva, Brent’s cabinet member for public health and adult social care, said: “I’m delighted that local people will benefit from such a brilliant and necessary local resource as part of the growth of the area. It’s really important that developers work with the council and local health services to ensure improvements being made to our neighbourhoods include all the necessary services and public realm infrastructure to meet the needs of both longstanding and new residents.

“This is an excellent example of what Brent has done to champion that sort of arrangement and will see Wembley Park provided with a state-of-the-art health facility that goes hand in hand with the council’s ambition to create a healthier Brent.”

James Saunders, chief executive of Quintain, added: “This new GP surgery will increase high-quality healthcare provision in the borough of Brent for residents new and old in a purpose-built facility. From its inception, our masterplan at Wembley Park sought to provide everything local residents need to live healthy, happy lives in their neighbourhood.

“At Quintain, we believe that access to healthcare is a fundamental aspect of a thriving community, and we are proud to support the provision of these essential services. We look forward to continuing our efforts to support the health and wellbeing of both our Residents and our local community and to provide an exceptional quality of life in Wembley Park.”
