HBD has appointed James Walters as a director in the company’s Birmingham team.
Walters previously held roles at Avison Young and Rigby Real Estate, where he was development director.
In his new role, he will work alongside Simon Raiye, director and head of region, to deliver HBD projects across both the East and West Midlands and source new opportunities, with a particular focus on the industrial and logistics sector.
Ed Hutchinson, managing director of HBD, which is part of Henry Boot, said: “James is a fantastic addition to our Birmingham team as we continue to grow our pipeline across the industrial and logistics, urban development and residential sectors. His experience and knowledge will be a real asset as we push ahead with large-scale schemes across the Midlands, including SPARK, APEX and Neighbourhood.”
