The UK is in close competition with France for the title of the largest delegation among the 90 countries taking part in MIPIM 2026, according to the event’s organiser.
Matthew Pennycook, minister of state for housing and planning, will join metro mayors, city leaders and chief executives from across the UK property and investment sectors at the event, which takes place in Cannes on 9-13 March.
The UK government will also be sending officials from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG), and Homes England.
Scotland is returning to Cannes for the first time since the pandemic, with a delegation led by Glasgow, Dundee and Edinburgh, supported by a wider network of investors, developers and Scottish government representatives championing Scotland’s investment story.
