The Marston Farm Hotel in North Warwickshire has been acquired by an Indian investor for its debut UK site for £2.5m.
The unnamed business has ambitious plans to expand internationally and build a portfolio of UK properties. The hotel, which was originally an 18th century farmhouse, sits on a six-acre freehold site and offers 37 en-suite bedrooms.
The hotel also features a 50-cover restaurant, a bar, a 120-capacity semi-permanent marquee and four conference and meeting rooms.
Josh Sullivan, associate director in Colliers’ hotels agency team, which handled the sale, said: “The Marston Farm Hotel attracted strong interest due to its strategic location, historic appeal, significant potential for development, as well as strong past trading history for corporate and leisure custom.
