Keep the BE News team posted over the festive period

The BE News team is signing off from today until Wednesday 3 January, so this will be our last BE Alert for a while.

But don’t worry. If there is breaking news, we will, of course, be covering it, so do check in with us every now and then via the BE News website and LinkedIn – and please continue to share any news stories you have with us by contacting editorial@benews.co.uk. We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for those last-minute deal stories that people scramble to get over the line before the year end. You can also catch up on some of the fantastic content BE News has produced in its first year via our ICYMI LinkedIn posts.

It is hard to believe that the BE Alert newsletter is not even a year old yet (we launched it in late January) and that the BE News website has only just reached its one-year anniversary. If we had known a year ago how challenging the market would be in 2023, would we have launched the first quality, free-to-air news service to cover the entire built environment industry when we did? Hell yes! We knew BE News was what people needed then (because you told us) and we believe it is even more important now as we look ahead to 2024 and beyond.

We hope you’ve enjoyed reading all our news, views and analysis and that you are proud to be part of the rapidly growing BE News community. Thanks to you, BE News is the fastest growing title in this space and boasts market leading engagement rates, and the BE News team is hugely grateful for your continued support.

Expect a lot more from BE News in ’24 – including the launch of an important new service that I will tell you all about in my first leader comment of the New Year. In that article, I will also be assessing which parts of the industry are, like BE News, aiming to ‘Do more in ‘24’ and which just want to ‘Survive until ‘25’? So, look out for that in the first week of the New Year.
