Jarron Developments (Jarron) has submitted a planning application for a new 10-storey build-to-rent (BTR) scheme in Sheffield.
Designed by Buttress Architects, the Kelham Point scheme will provide 161 one- and two-bedroom apartments.
The on-site amenity provision will include a rooftop terrace offering panoramic views across the city, a private dining suite, a residents’ lounge, dedicated co-working space and a gym.
Kelham Point is located within walking distance of Sheffield’s main business, retail and cultural districts.
Will Clarke, development director at Jarron Developments, said: “Kelham Point represents a landmark opportunity to deliver a best-in-class residential scheme in one of Sheffield’s most dynamic districts. Working with Buttress and the wider design team, we have designed a development that responds to the growing demand for high-quality city living, while respecting and enhancing the distinctive character of Kelham Island. Our ambition is to create homes that elevate everyday living, combining good quality design, high specification, and meaningful amenity provision in prime city locations.”
Ben Tabiner, director at Buttress, added: “We are excited to work closely alongside Jarron Developments in the regeneration of Kelham and the surrounding area. This residential scheme contributes to the on-going urban renaissance of Sheffield and represents a key turning point in the city’s development which we are proud to support.”
