JLL has expanded director Ben Farrell’s role within its national offices investment team.
Farrell, who moved to JLL in 2022 in the firm’s Glasgow office as part of its Scottish capital markets team, will join the national offices investment team in London to advise investors across the UK’s regional office markets.
In addition to his expanded role, Farrell will continue to advise a range of clients across cross-sector transactions in Scotland.
Simon Verrall, head of national offices investment at JLL, said: “Having worked with Ben on several projects I am excited to welcome him to the London team. We will undoubtedly benefit from his inherent knowledge of regional markets and the depth of his expertise and understanding of the trends and shifts that are impacting our sector. JLL’s commitment to the continued growth and development of our people has ensured that we have the right talent to take on new opportunities and respond to our clients’ needs.
“JLL’s analysis shows that the UK office sector is back in focus for investors and that as competition intensifies in London, capital will increasingly look to regional opportunities to satisfy requirements. Buyers are increasingly taking an opportunity-led and quality-led approach, rather than a sector-led approach to deploying capital and regional offices are well positioned to meet these demands. We have already begun to see this shift steadily translate to increased investment volumes for national offices and whilst buyers remain highly selective there is appetite for the right assets that we anticipate will continue into 2026.”
