Bidwells has strengthened its industrial and logistics agency team with the appointment of Luke Davenport as an associate.

Davenport joins Bidwells after 11 years in the commercial team at Cheffins, where he built a strong reputation across the industrial, mid-tech and open-storage sectors.

In his new role, Davenport will continue working across the Cambridge market and further afield, specialising in medium and large-scale logistics warehousing.

Davenport said: “I’m looking forward to joining the team. Having worked closely with Bidwells on numerous joint agency instructions in recent years, the move feels like a natural fit. The team has a leading presence in the regional industrial market and I’m keen to build on my experience within the large-scale warehouse sector and contribute to the continued growth of the Bidwells team and its outstanding projects.”

Patrick Stanton, head of industrial and logistics agency at Bidwells, added: “Luke brings strong client relationships, a proven track record and real drive to the team. Over the last five years, we have focused on assembling significant land holdings with landowners and partnering with developers to create some of the most significant logistics parks in the UK. That strategy has delivered remarkable success with over 2,000 acres now under developer control across the Cambridge-Oxford Arc and A14/A1/M11 growth corridors.

“This will deliver some 24.5m sq ft of logistics and industrial space and now is the right time to expand the team to help drive these schemes forward on behalf of our clients. Luke brings all the credentials required to support our continued growth and strengthen our market leading position across the region and our continued expansion into new areas.”
