Marchdown Holdings and Beaufort Capital have purchased a 140,000 sq ft industrial and warehouse complex on Saville Road Industrial Estate in Peterborough for an undisclosed price.
This is the second acquisition for the joint venture, which is targeting multi-let industrial estates requiring asset management, repositioning and refurbishment
Beaufort Capital is providing debt and equity as part of the JV, which is close to completing its third acquisition and is actively seeking further opportunities.
Following completion of the acquisition of the 8-acre Peterborough site, which is located just off the A1, Marchdown will undertake refurbishment works to provide sustainable, high-quality industrial units and extensive secure yard space.
Peter French, from Beaufort Capital Management UK, the investment adviser to Beaufort Capital, said: “We are delighted with this second acquisition in the well-established Saville Road Industrial Estate in Peterborough. The development will provide much needed high quality and sustainable industrial space for local and regional SME’s, with a number of such businesses already making enquiries. We are looking forward to growing this joint venture with Marchdown over the course of 2025.”
Ed Jones, from Marchdown, added: “I’m delighted to be both continuing my successful relationship with Beaufort Capital and to have secured this vacant estate in an excellent location, with refurbishment and repositioning potential in this tight market.”
TD-PC acted for Marchdown. Savills represented the vendor and will be retained as letting agents.
