Kajima Partnerships has appointed Chris Jones as investment director.

Jones, who has more than two decades of experience delivering major mixed‑use and residential‑led regeneration across the UK, previously worked at global engineering consultancy Arcadis, where he advised public and private sector clients on development strategy, joint venture structuring and large‑scale programme delivery.

Prior to that, he worked for Related Argent and was involved in shaping the financial business plan for its King’s Cross redevelopment.

In his new role, Jones will focus on originating and delivering mixed-use development and social infrastructure opportunities, working with landowners, private partners, institutional investors, housing associations and local authorities to unlock investment, accelerate delivery and support sustainable placemaking across residential, health, education and structurally undersupplied markets.

Jones said: “Kajima has a strong track record of delivering projects through long-term partnerships, creating meaningful impact for communities. What particularly stands out is the business’s ability to combine capital and delivery capability to create opportunities. I’m looking forward to working with colleagues and partners to unlock investment, catalyse delivery, and create strong outcomes that stand the test of time.

Chris Gill, managing director of Kajima Partnerships, added: “Chris’s experience on nationally significant projects, including the King’s Cross redevelopment, shows his ability to deliver lasting value, which perfectly aligns with our ambitions at Kajima Partnerships. He joins a team focused on delivering social infrastructure that works seamlessly with its surroundings and supports resilient, thriving communities. I look forward to working with him as we continue to create places which grow and succeed.”
