Keepmoat and Persimmon Homes have acquired a 43.3-acre disused farm site in Ingleby Barwick for a new residential development.
The joint venture partners secured planning consent earlier this week to build 339 houses and six bungalows on the site, which is located off Welwyn Road.
Keepmoat will deliver 164 new homes across the northern parcel of the site comprising a mix of two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes with a minimum of 44 affordable homes delivered in partnership with local housing association Thirteen Group.
On the southern parcel of land, Persimmon will deliver 181 new homes ranging from two- to five-bedroom properties.
