KPMG has almost doubled its footprint at CEG’s EastWest office building in Nottingham.

The company has signed for 7,500 sq ft on a five-year deal and has relocated from two studios in the recently refurbished building.

CEG delivered a full turnkey solution for KMPG as part of the company’s expansion plans. A bespoke office design was created with the interior fit-out delivered by The Ultimate Group.

Marc Abrams, senior office partner at KPMG UK’s Nottingham office, said: “Our new office in the EastWest building – right in the heart of Nottingham city centre – delivers a first-class facility for our team. With more meeting rooms, communal areas and a dedicated event space all situated on one floor, this contemporary and innovative set up will promote a more collaborative working environment. This marks a new and exciting chapter for us in the region, and we’re looking forward to welcoming clients and contacts to our new home over the coming weeks.”

Alex Goode, investment manager at CEG, added: “We’re delighted to see KPMG grow at East West. The Let Ready Custom offer has enabled the company to move into a unique, contemporary space as part of a full turnkey solution. The quality of the space, and its fantastic central location means we continue to lead the way in terms of rental values in the city.”

Mark Tomlinson, director at FHP, the letting agent for EastWest, said: “We’re continuing to see a clear flight to quality in the office market, as occupiers prioritise high-quality, well-located, and amenity-rich workspaces that support both productivity and staff wellbeing. The letting of 7,500 sq ft to KPMG at EastWest is a prime example of this trend.

“We are now achieving rents in excess of £26/sq ft within the building, with occupier interest on new spaces coming forwards in excess of this level, underlining the continued demand for the best quality office accommodation in Nottingham city centre.”
