Proptech firms Lavanda and Utopi have formed a strategic partnership to “drive sustainability and boost rental income” across multi-family and student accommodation portfolios.

Lavanda OpenPMS now integrates with Utopi’s building performance data platform, enabling operators to unlock “significant operational benefits” while minimising energy consumption and controlling carbon emissions.

The partnership between Lavanda and Utopi will allow new build and retrofit assets to optimise utility usage, gain full remote control of site temperatures, and enhance tenant engagement through a unified platform.

Fred Lerche-Lerchenborg (pictured), CEO of Lavanda, said: “Our partnership with Utopi means we are meeting demand for solutions that not only streamline property management but also deliver measurable ESG and energy efficiency outcomes. By integrating Lavanda’s OpenPMS with Utopi’s data-driven insights, this partnership provides operators with cutting-edge property management technology designed to drive sustainability, reduce operating costs and significantly elevate the overall performance of assets.”

Jonathan Burridge, CEO of Utopi, added: “This partnership means we are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in ESG and energy management across managed residential property portfolios. By combining our strengths, we are enabling operators to drive unparalleled levels of efficiency, reduce operational costs, and enhance the overall value of their assets.”
